Happy St. Patrick's Day. I can't believe it's already mid-March. I had hoped to publish my debut picture book LAST month, but the whole self-publication thing has a very steep learning curve. Formatting is proving the most difficult step so far. But, I'm almost there. A few more little difficulties to overcome and my book will be ready to go!
As I wait, I'm enjoying the first signs of spring. Nothing is actually growing here yet, and the geese and robins haven't returned, but the snow and ice are melting. I've started working on the next Bearberry picture book. It's set in the springtime and patience and friendship are the main themes. So, taking heart from my own art and writing, I've decided to live with hope and the anticipation of brighter days to come. Enjoy the sunshine. Hug a tree!
